Mamuśka welcome you to join us and the artists of Sight of a Woman Photography Exhibition on Thursday at 19:30.
We have been promoting and benefiting from the work of Polish artists living in London since we opened in 2010. And now Mamuśka! is proud to present our latest exhibition featuring an all-female cast of Polish photographic artists. Sight of a Woman celebrates the unique perspective that femininity bestows upon our artists, as well as inviting us to examine women closely as the subject matter within many of the images in these collections. We have brought together a working artist, formally trained amateurs and a first-time exhibitor to highlight the contrasts and similarities between them. Over the years Polish women have carried many burdens, in particular throughout the past 100 years. Take some time to enjoy and reflect on this work. We celebrate the strength and insightfulness of these artists, and raise ourselves up in solidarity with Polish women everywhere!
The exhibition will be running from 26th April until 26th May 2012.
