#Mamuśka! #Polish #Kitchen and #Bar is a 6000 square foot venue with an open mezzanine (The Platform) as bar and event space overlooking the Old Arch dining hall. The site is fitted out in steel and natural wood and surrounded in structural concrete. The only thing cooler is the bar we built to fit into this amazing space. All hand crafted, industrial steel and caging and LED up lighters, this is the perfect stage for a fantastic people-orientated #bartender. The team at Mamuśka! is cross-trained into floor service and dispense bartending (including cocktails) and we are looking for a dedicated bartender to switch between The Platform and the Dispense Bar downstairs. Position Title: Service Stars (Waitress / Waiter)

Are you ready to embrace old-school hospitality where we hustle, smile and bend over backwards to give an amazing brand experience?

Our massive open-air mezzanine, The Platform, is designed to work as a bar, private party space and over-flow for tour groups, but with massive steel beams and concrete overhead, it feels like we have transformed a shipyard! The main 130-seat Old Arch dining area downstairs in the Victorian-era railway is overlooked by the Gantry Walk on The Bunker, a steel-clad structure at the far end of the restaurant so that our special patrons can enjoy a birds-eye view of all the action.

So the venue is pretty spectacular! But management knows it is our FOH Service Team who set the tone of fun professionalism, casual efficiency and wacky dependability that keep customers returning (and the service charge flowing in into the pockets of the team).

We are looking for people who are truly excited about #Polish #food, #drink and #culture and are ready to teach and share that love with new and returning customers alike. Wall flowers and people who don’t like speaking to people are very welcome as guests, but need not apply to work here!

Service Stars take turns handling everything in the front of house:

- Greeting and Helping Customers
- Guiding guests through the menu and SELLING (not just taking orders)
- Pouring Drinks and Keeping the bar stocked
- Clearing tables and keeping the restaurant clean
- Working with the kitchen to get the orders out
- Co-ordinating the Delivery Service
- Choosing the music and video entertainment
- Posting to Social Media … and so much more!

Position Title: Sous Chef with progression to Site Head Chef

Mamuśka! Polish Kitchen and Bar is the most-loved Polish restaurant and bar in London. We are getting more popular and busier all the time at our 250 seat flagship location in Southbank Waterloo.

Our Head Chef has helped grow the business over the past 14 years and is ready to open new locations, so this is an amazing opportunity to develop your skills and get ready to run a kitchen of your own, either here in Southbank Waterloo or one of the new locations we are poised to open.

This is a hands-on role. We’ve seen chefs who use the sous-chef title to lean against a fridge while providing no direction or support, and we are definitely not interested in that.

We are looking for a professional chef who can manage a team and who can lead them from the front, producing amazing Polish food in large quantities with our Head of Production one day and who is equally comfortable being amazingly fast on the line, serving up a meal every 30 seconds when working on one of our busier shifts.

If you can already do both and you are not afraid of hard work and responsibility, we want to see you in action!

Our new Sous Chef will need to know Polish cuisine very well and speak a good level of English so that you can deal with suppliers and colleagues from across London’s various linguistic communities. In addition, we are looking for a person:

whose main focus is on food safety, and kitchen cleanliness, authenticity and quality,
who pays keen attention to health and safety,
who can deliver on portion control methods,
who is organised and can schedule orders and food production,
who has outstanding speed, especially on the line,
who will be diplomatic and ethical while executing strong person-management.

With expansion plans ready, all we need to launch them is a Management Team willing to be accountable for their area of the business and deliver on it.

- At least one year experience managing a bar operation, including stock, training, personnel management and P&L
